Didn't notice that. Even still, making more more per unit is never a mistake on a title that'll never sell loads.

I am working on few new titles.....

CURSE OF THE BLUE LIGHTS. Today I am supervising a HiDef transfer from the director John Johnson personal 16mm print. Looks like a fun film!

It may be fair to him but not to us... at $19,99 plus shipping it´s about $10 more that what I payed for most of my titles on release date though there were few exceptions.

And we don´t really know if the first print of this titles was sold. I mean, it´s not the first time that a distributor stopped selling titles, saying they are out of print, only to generate more interest.

I know in the end it´s all business, and one must look for the best way for their product.

For me, the asking price is too much, but I respect others opinions.

I understand you want to pay less but please have a look at these prices...other indie companies selling direct via their own shops (newest dvd releases):

Black Oak Conspiracy | Shout!Factory

Zoom In: Sex Apartments [DVD] | Synapse Films

TORSO (Uncensored English Version) by Blue Underground, directed by Sergio Martino

Dark Sky Films

I'm a little disappointed in some of the things he's repressing. I've been dying for The Forest (1982) for such a long time. I wonder if he no longer has the rights to it.

Almost all companies lower or keep the same price of an original repressing... I don´t know the numbers, but and actual repressing means the original pressing sold and the movie recoup, so the actual recoup of a repressing will just serve to gain the factory costs.
It's possible the second pressing was for a smaller amount, and therefore he could have paid more per unit, as it's likely the more they press the cheaper per unit it is to press.

The Forest was already sort of re-issued in 2009.

Here's a review of the double feature (it has slight differences compared to the standalone releases):

Forest, The / Don’t go in the Woods – 10,000 Bullets

It's maybe possible there's still some left of the double feature?

Also keep in mind that this is only the start of (hopefully successful) selected repressings.

I'm aware, and sadly he had neither when I enquired.
