I'm on your side on this one , I always say to myself I will watch all of this movies when I retire.

I do make more of an effort to watch things regularly these days. Some discs I even watch the same day that I receive them. But I have an enormous to-watch pile...

Has there been any mention of any further Hammer titles on Blu in the UK?

Would love to see some of the so called lesser films get releases such as Creatures the World Forgot, Slave Girls, Moon Zero-Two, Viking Queen, When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth and The Lost Continent.

Not to mention classic films like Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed, Frankenstein Created Woman, The Abominable Snowman, Quatermass films, X -The Unknown, Captain Kronos, 7 Golden Vamps, and last and very much least the two She films.

Hi Dem just a note on what (I think) I know about UK distriubution for these:

Creatures the World Forgot is owned by Sony so I guess Indicator would be favourites to release it.

Slave Girls
Viking Queen
The Lost Continent
Frankenstein Created Woman
Vengeance of She

All owned by Studiocanal so a good possibility these may also turn up from Indicator or SC themselves.

Moon Zero-Two
When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth
Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed
7 Golden Vamps

All owned by Warners so they would need a release from WB themselves or through the Premium Collection, unless WB change policy and start licensing to boutiques.

The Abominable Snowman,
Quatermass I & II
X -The Unknown

All owned by Hammer. Recently Network announced a Hammer deal so may be that they are favourites for these ones.

Captain Kronos – owned by Paramount (or is it in UK rights limbo?) so could be anyone but I expect Eureka or BFI would be favourites

She – not sure about this one?

Any corrections to the above welcome.

To partially quote you from a few days ago.

"Michael Brooke has said on here several times" that Indicator will not be releasing any Frankenstein films.

.
Warner already license to Shout Factory 7 Vamps and The It’s Alive films all bear Warner’s logo at the start Rob.

Yes Reaps, they do license out to labels in US but not so much in the UK. The BFI have squeezed the od title out of them and are releasing Get Carter this year and Arrow have managed to get one title out of them - Cruising.

All other WB titles in the UK are self-releases or through HMV Premium Collection

Hope this is going change at some point but I've not heard anything...

hoisted by my own petard...

Well he should know.

When Indicator signed their deal with SC I'm sure there was a quote somewhere that it was good news for Hammer fans, but to be honest there doesn't seem to be anything tangible from it so far, with the last Indicator boxset being Universal titles.

It seems that FCW is such a choice title that someone needs to release it given that its been out in US for sometime now!
