No, the exact opposite

I thought so, but wasn't 100% – it wouldn't make much sense to release it again on DVD, even with a load of new extra features.

There's supposed to be some information in the new Home Cinema Choice magazine (or something like that), from an Arrow related feature, about new licenses, but I haven't heard anyone mention anything yet.

Just got it and read it then. Fantastic read, but the only unannounced titles mentioned are Sisters and White Of The Eye a couple of times, both of which we already knew.

How disappointing. I really wish Arrow wouldn't tease things we already know about. Thanks for checking it out though. Is it worth picking the magazine up for the feature?

To be honest, I downloaded a PDF. of it, seeing as tere was no way for me to get it. The article is a good read, it's an interview with the new ex-BFI restoration artist working for them now, and he talks about how he got into it, and his experiences with ZFE and new titles, especially Time Bandits.

I could pass you on the download link if you want. It's a good articles but I don't think it justifies the rather large price of the magazine.

Apologies to those I disappointed, I just reread the article and noticed this interesting tidbit, though it doesn't specifically mention any titles, and it sounds almost like Arrow Academy stuff.

"There are going to be more restorations for key films in the HandMade Films library. And there's a very exciting project underway to do with an important figure in Eastern European film - but I'm afraid I can't say say any more about that one for now!"

To be honest, I don't think there will be many more Arrow Video titles we haven't heard about, as we nearly have a full Q4:

Sisters
The Fury
Phantom Of The Paradise
White Of The Eye (Getting new restoration)
Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (w/ Steelbook)
Frivolous Lola
Cheeky

That leaves room for only a couple more titles, unless I missed any.

I actually contacted a cinema in London which was screening The Burning, and it was HandMade Films who provided the license and print, funnily enough. Although Arrow have pooh-poohed it, so it could well be they're just distributors of the theatrical license. Then again, they pooh-poohed ZFE too, because it cost too much, as I recall. I imagine whatever they've got from them is probably more Time Bandits style stuff.

I did notice that doing a bit of research, but I disregarded it, due to what Arrow had said. Maybe we'll see a fresh remaster of The Burning now!
