There's always first impressions as well.

Personally i'd find this far more eye catching among all the other covers on the racks.

Not that i'll be buying it so i'll keep quiet.

I won't be buying it either (I have a nice big arse on my cover! ), but Arrow have always done newly commissioned art as the front cover and original(s) as the flip side(s).
Hawkmonger likes this.

I still have it on VHS somewhere, and it has that artwork, I agree.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Rick Melton's artwork! (I won't be buying this either.)

Oh, I don't like it - I was being sarcastic!

I'm not double dipping even though I do like Graham's new cover art, as the arse aside, I already have three other panels to choose from

I know you can't beat the original 'gas mask' artwork, but I like to see other interpretations – including the infamous big arse cover!

I'm the same in that respect. I'm all for artistic interpretation, and some of these newly designed covers play much more to my tastes than some of the original poster art does. However, Rik's arse cover for Inferno just never did it for me.

That said, a lot of his other work has been really good (The Beyond, Dawn of the Dead, Deep Red, Martin, Tenebrae etc.)

Is INFERNO another Tenebrae job with new transfer or just a re-release?

Just a re-release I think (but without the second disc of extras). It doesn't need a new transfer though in my opinion.
