I was also wondering which company now has the rights to Dawn of the Dead, now that Arrow have let them go.

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on that Mark of the Devil BD release. It's been a favourite of mine ever since getting an uncut VHS copy I tried to import from Holland many years ago, seized and confiscated by customs.

Some titles now may be heading to streaming only.

Streaming maybe the future but until BT spend some money and give everyone superfast fibre it isn't going to take over. Where I live I'm often lucky to get 1MB!

Anyway, Arrow were obviously unable to rebuy Dawns rights so some company must have snapped them up, but which company? I do find it strange that Dawn hasn't had a blu release elsewhere in the world. Is Romero working on something or are the materials not in that good a condition and Arrows release was a fluke? I'd like a set similiar to Anchor Bays previous release with three cuts of the film but all in HD. Perhaps Marc Morris knows who owns Dawn now?

There is an Australian release from Umbrella. See Umbrellas website (as I have done less than 15 posts Cult Labs won't let me put the link on.)

Until recently there was a non vanilla version too. Don't know what they are like as I have the Arrow. Other Umbrella releases seem ok that I have (People vs Larry Flynt, Body Double.)

I have to look to Australia as my machine is region B locked. New Zealand also have some interesting releases such as Halloween 3 which is a direct port of the Region A Scream release and plays fine on my machine.
