** BRIDE OF RE-ANIMATOR FULL SPECS & ARTWORK **

The time has come to reveal full details of our upcoming Bride of Re-Animator release. The packaging will be fully embossed, much like our Society limited edition set.

This set is limited to 5,000 copies in the US and 5,000 copies in the UK - and has almost sold out in North America!

If you've yet to pre-order yours, you can pick up the US edition here: Amazon.com: Bride of Re-Animator (Director Approved 3-Disc Limited Edition) [Blu-ray + DVD]: Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott, Fabiana Udeino, Claude Earl Jones, David Gale, Brian Yuzna: Movies & TV

And the UK edition here: Bride of Re-Animator Dual Format Blu-ray & DVD Limited Edition

DATE. MATE. RE-ANIMATE.

The success of Stuart Gordon’s hit horror-comedy Re-Animator meant that a sequel was all but inevitable. The resulting follow-up, Bride of Re-Animator – this time helmed by director Brian Yuzna (Society, Return of the Living Dead III) – would prove that there was a good deal more life (and death) left in the story of Dr Herbert West and his ghoulish exploits.

It has been eight months since the bloody massacre at Miskatonic Medical School. Unperturbed by the disastrous outcome of his previous meddling with the dead, Dr West (again played by Jeffrey Combs) continues his research into the phenomenon of re-animation; only this time, he plans to create life – starting with the heart of his young protégé Dan’s dearly deceased, Meg Halsey. Surely nothing could go wrong?

With special effects master Screaming Mad George (the man behind the infamous “shunting” sequence of Society) on hand to contribute a host of characteristically weird and wonderful creations, Bride of Re-Animator is a more than worthy successor to Stuart Gordon’s original cult classic.

Seen Bride on VHS and DVD, both looked pretty bad, so wonder if Arrow can work some magic and give us a cracker.

Yep, I'm giving it a miss. I can live without some words and pics in a book I won't even read, some behind the scenes footage, and a censored version of the film. Roll on the amaray!

Love Re-Animator, but I always hated Bride.
It's far too stupid and silly for my taste, especially when the movie goes of the rails at the end. The comedy just falls flat, in comparison to the original.
Too bad Stuart Gordon didn't direct it.
Not even Jeffrey Combs and David Gale, could save that mess.

But for the fans, this edition will probably be like christmas for them
