It does seem odd, seeing as Arrow did such good work on Beyond, maybe( I hate to say this) the elements of City are too far gone, even in the Arrow Fulci dvd box set City doesn't measure up to the other two P.Q. wise (still a nice upgrade from my Vipco tho) I can't remember if there was a good VHS release of City either, it looked fine in the cinema back in the day so Fulci & co shot it okay at least.

I think the Arrow release of The Beyond looks ace, but I'm not sure that's the general consensus. City on the other hand looks bloody awful, in many ways it looks worse than the old vipco dvd and that's saying something. I'm constantly amazed the Arrow blu never got more flack. Hell the original release of Tenebrae got a proper roasting and looked much better than CotLD.

I saw that and I thought it was silly because it's not that expensive

They're also the same price on HMV's website.
Apparently this promotion is on until October 9th

The Blue Underground release of City Of The Living Dead is quite rough as well compared to their House By The Cemetery release. It's got to be the original source elements ?

Nope, it was the scanner used to make the HD master - it introduced swarms of noise to the image.

Yeah, that scanner noise is typical of those old LVR transfers from Italy.
Together with the Italian Tenebrae transfer, used on Arrows first BD release, it's one of the worst examples, of this problem.

With a brand new 2K or 4K scan, of the original negatives, this could look mint.

"***NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE COMING***

Join us on Friday the 9th at 4pm BST / 8am PST / 11am EST for our December title reveals!"

It's obviously a medical themed film. 'Scanners' and 'Flatliners' have all been suggested, but I'm wondering 'Coma' or 'Visiting Hours'

Scanners has already received a UK release from Second Sight and Flatliners is owned by Sony, who Arrow do not have a deal with (at least that we know of!)

I'd say your suggestions were much more likely Suzi.
