Over the moon about Hired Hand, back in the day the only version I saw was the U.S. tv version (with added footage of Larry J.R. Hagman  ) and thought it too slow and looked quite poor in 4:3, then all these years later it shows up in the U.k. on freeview in a 'restored' version and was a stonkingly good, quite gentle western and in some scenes really beautifully shot too, if you can take the slow pace it's a truly great movie, both Fonda and Oates are at the top of their game here, in a rare splurge I may pick it up on day one... maybe

According to Arrow's Facebook page The Burning Steelie is now sold out from their store. Still available from Amazon, Zavvi and HMV though if you were still deliberating on a purchase.
