The best present I ever got in my entire life was as a kid from my Mum and Dad. It was a bearded original Action Man . I also got a a Russian WWII Army uniform and a frog mans suit for him. (back then you could buy all sorts of new uniforms separately) I hadn't many friends as a kid so me and Beardie' were inseparable . Might'nt sound like much by todays standards but it ment the world to me. |

Who can forget these little fellas.. Never got an actual set but it got built up from parts and used to get some teams for Christmas. My dad made a hardwood table top and glued the pitch on it. We also had STRIKER which was great because the players actually had a moveable leg that could kick the ball. |

Ah yeah, brilliant . Two classic footie games. If you give a kid those now though they'd look at you as if you were mad and demand FIFA for their X Boxes. |

The one present that I always dreamed of owning as a child but never received it was Mr Frosty, it was one of those presents that every other kid had so it always rubbed in the fact that we weren't as lucky as most kids our age at the time. Maybe I'll buy one now to make up for it, for nostalgic sake.

I was beaten to it with the Big Trak - one of my fave toys, I used to programme it to go up to the dog and fire the laser cannon. The dog used to look at it and go back to sleep Also was into the usual MASK best one I had was Switchblade the helicopter / jet. And yes I was one of those people who had a stylophone. Then there was the silver Grifter bike, Amstrad CPC464 with the green monitor, the Sinclair ZX81 oh my God I could go on and on...
