I posted a new blog after doing some reading up on the theme song from Prisoner, On the Inside.

One thing I forgot to mention in the post was my memory of hearing DJ Mickey Finn at some rave or other drop On the Inside into his set over a blistering breakbeat rave track to the general delight of the crowd who all lifted a couple of inches off the floor on recognising it. Another example of the weird cultural impact of Prisoner Cell Block H and probably proof that the raving crowd watched the show as comedown TV.

Then again, there was also Sesame's Treat with the Sesame Street theme and I'm sincerely hoping the same crowd didn't watch that to, although you could always find a fair few of them sucking on pacifiers... For me personally, they were dark days.
