I'm not overly familiar with BladeRunner Stephen. I've watched it half a dozen times over the past 30 years but I reckon I've only seen it once, watching the final cut on blu about 2 months back. I didn't get the impression that Deckard was a replicant myself. Mind me asking why you say it was more than clear?

I'll let Stephen answer that since you asked him, but I'd just like to point out that Ridley Scott has explicitly said numerous times that Deckard IS a replicant, and that people are 'stupid' if they can't see that.

As mentioned im not that familiar with the film and I thought Scott had refused to ever give a clear answer. Not read the book either. I can see how the film certainly leaves it as a possibility but it just didn't seem more than clear.

there was a story behind the making of the film where ridley scott allegedly lied to harrison ford that deckard isn't a replicant and then harrison ford found out ridley lied.

I just found an article online from 2013 where Ridley apparently verifies that he is a replicant but Ford says he never thought it and still doesn't.

My favourite Ridley Scott film is A Good Year so go figure.

The answer all depends on which version of the film you watch

I thought that too.

I don't see how Deckard can be a replicant if he's in this new movie and a lot older.
