Like a politician declaring "I'm not going to resign!" after a scandal, only to be gone within a day or two, the head of the BBC has been moved to publicly deny Who is in trouble, even (hilariously) declaring it to be in its healthiest state ever!

Expect the axe by the end of the year. :tongue1:

They will never emit its not doing well, that would mean people don't want to be lectured too!

It could be good again if they get rid of the spineless, yes man Chibnall but more importantly stop the bloody lecturing, yes have a message and tackle issues but do it subtile and not with a sledgehammer, most people aren't a stupid as the people working at the bbc

The head you mention is BBC One program controller Piers Wenger.

Former executive producer on Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures and the person who cast Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor.

He ain't no Michael Grade Who hater.

It seems like the cascade effect is taking place with Parody Who. The BBC were hoping for a ratings boost with that lacklustre episode with the return of the Cybermen, but it seems to of backfired. What wonderful revelation shall we bare witness to when Parody Who reaches it's final episode. Was the Doctor female all along, and not a male Doctor? Who knows. Can't wait. :pound:

Remember something trebor, bosses at the BBC aren't stupid at all. They know exactly what their doing. The BBC now works on the notion of identity politics that's played a significant role in shaping Parody Who that we see on TV today. Society must change to the new formula, whether you want to or not.

well, I dug out Vengeance On Varos for some variety.

The odious Sil heads a great cast of ne'r do wells. The Doctor valiants through it all. Relevant still. It's all about giving people what you think they think they want. But Timelords have a way with destabilising any societal structure they come into contact with ;)
Plus phwoar knockers wif da assistant bint, er, lady, er, non geeezer. Cough.

I was looking at the ratings for Army of Ghosts and Doomsday.

8.19 m for Army and 8.22 m for Doomsday. I bet deep down at the BBC they wished Parody Who had those viewing figures. The Days of Wine and Roses at the BBC.
