I'm not suggesting that book is hard going, but I started it in October 2022, and I am only on page 171!

I never read it or owned it.

Although i owned all the New Adventures up to Dying Days i never bought the set of the Missing Adventures. Mainly select ones that featured classic villains and monsters.

Selling all my Virgin novels was a decision i should never have made.

Who: Before And After #1204 / Nu-Who #283
Name: Bill Nighy [1949 - ]
Year(s): 2010
Stories: Vincent And The Doctor
Character(s): Dr. Henry Black
Note(s):
  • Is uncredited in the episode
  • Was previously offered the part of the Ninth Doctor, but turned the role down because he felt it came with 'too much responsibility'
  • During a 'Doctor Who: Lockdown!' tweet-a-long of 'Vincent and the Doctor' in 2020, Matt Smith suggested that "Doctor Black" may actually be an alias of a future incarnation of the Doctor checking back on his younger self and helping him along, similar to the Curator in 'The Day Of The Doctor'. If one lends credence to this theory, it would mean Nighy has played The Doctor on television, although he would not have known it at the time!
