February 17th, 1968 - 56 years ago today Nicholas Courtney made his debut as Colonel Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart in the third episode of 'The Web of Fear'


However... the character actually made his first appearance in the second part of the story - or his boot did at least...


...although in this instance the part was played by an uncredited Maurice Brooks
