Back in the day when kids were allowed to be dexterous, imaginative and capable of providing their own entertainment...and also being able to use scissors (with the health and safety police knocking at the door)

Have you listened to the commentary on '...Weng-Chiang'?

There are quite a lot of occasions when someone states 'you would NEVER be able to get away with that today!'

No i never have. Although i now watch all the extras (i didn't use to) i very rarely bother with a commentary.

I should listen to them as i've enjoyed the few i have listened to.

Do you always listen to them, Susan? Are there any you really enjoyed and recommend?

Looking thru '...the folder' says that over the years, the only commentaries I have not listened to in their entirety are 'The Mind Of Evil', (which I found 'tedious') and 'Power Of The Daleks', (due to lack of time. I've also not had time to do the telesnaps reconstruction of this story).

Ironically, the commentary to 'Sleep No More' sent me to sleep, so I have not completed that one either

Best and worst? I don't know because there are so many of them, but saying that...the ones with Peter Davison and Janet Fielding are always good fun due to the chemistry between the two. I also enjoyed the Colin Baker ones and the Sylvester McCoy ones

It's a real shame there are no real commentaries with William, (and especially) Patrick and Jon because I think they would be fascinating

The few i've listened to have been with Davison and Fielding. Usually to hear what they say about Matthew Waterhouse.

It's probably Strickson as he often had his hands in his blazer pockets.
