What's his one man show about?, i saw him on challange TV the other day dressed in a samurai outfit hosting a show called Unbeatable Banzuki. He popped up in an episode of Survivors in 1977 playing a character called Brod, He was menacing as hell.

I have Ice Pirates on my amazon wish list along another 80s sci-fier called Runaway with Tom Selleck.

Runaway is great fun. Gene Simmons (Kiss) does surprisingly well as the villain and Kirstie Alley looks gorgeous (those were the days).

I think I heard somewhere Tom Selleck was originally going to be cast as Indiana Jones. I like magnum P.I. but he's no Harrison Ford...

He was indeed but had to withdraw due to his TV commitment to Magnum. Nick Mancuso and Peter Coyote also tested for the role.

Christopher Walken also screen tested as Han Solo, Harrison Ford was fitting the doors to Lucas' Office and was asked to read with lines with Auditionee's and the rest is history, interesting story.
