Chato though cut for the US PG theatrical version was still strong stuff. The sequence where Richard Jourdan's corpse is found with a pile of ash between his legs where a fire had been lit was trimmed in the old late night TV screenings here (intact on the US PG version)Other films that were surprising PG classifications were the daft but gory Night Of The Lepus (an 'X' here) & Food Of The Gods (an 'X' here too)

I used to read the books and so when I heard that Arnie did one, I had to rent it. I thought the film was good, better than Destroyer.

Unfortunately Conan The Destroyer was aimed more at the kids & the character was made to look a complete & utter idiot at times who was easy to manipulate. The first is a classic adventure film & Schwarzenegger gives the character more dignity.

Yes by BRETT RATNER so expect Jackie Chan in a Mako style part & Chris Tucker as a camp Tulsa Doom wannabe.Bound to be a PG-13 too so an all round disaster.

Looking at the upcoming steelbook artwork, Conan is holding a severed head, which wasn't there in all of the other versions of this image I've seen, I wonder if it's an alternate version or has been recently added. |

It looks added on, it unbalances the picture.
