Another couple I liked and didn't make it past one season

Automan
Street hawk found this a lot better than knightrider and loved the tangerine dream soundtrack!

X-Bomber (Star Fleet): this Japanese marionette space opera was (heck, still is) fantastic.

Firefly: So much potential p****d up the wall cancelling this after one series.

Space:Above and Beyond.

Spawn: The animated series from HBO. So much better than the god-awful movie. Keith David was a much better Spawn as well.

And one of my guilty pleasures in recent years... Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.

I'd also say Twin Peaks was snuffed out prematurely.

I know things went off the boil towards the middle and end of the second season but that last episode was amazing. I read that Lynch and Frost were planning to come back to take the reigns for season three.

I would have loved more, wonder if we'll see anything for the 25 th anniversary.

I wish Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Steel wasn't cancelled before they even aired the pilot...

SyFy decided to chop the 90min pilot into 10 webisodes and 'air' them on YouTube, poor tactics if you ask me. I think they bottled it because it looked like it was going to be a pricey show to produce.

Quantum Leap. Cancelled at the end of the 5th season after they'd filmed a cliffhanger, forcing Donald Bellisario to tack on a quick ending that should never have hapened. I've never been so
disappointed in a tv network in my life (but that's probably because QL is my favourite tv show of all time).

Alien Nation. Cancelled after the 1st season, but thankfully 5 tv movies were made a few years later.
