Just caught the first episode of Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy series 2, glad to say a big improvement over series 1 IMHO, more Boosh like and funnier(dancing Andy Warhol made me laugh out loud) they even comment that they're surprised that it got to a second series, although still a bit trippy it's much more to my taste this time around.

Been meaning to check this out, just finished re-watching the Mighty Boosh, for some reason I liked the 2nd series of Boosh than the other two

Was Minder a comedy?

I was aware of it but never watched it, being too young and all.

I think it was classed as comedy drama, and definately has a great team with Cole and Waterman.

Would you say it has the same comedy drama style as New Tricks for example?

Some of it can be very adult in tone but you know you'll laugh a few times during an episode. That sort of thing?

Yeah also along the same lines of Boon and Auf Wiedersehen Pet.Id say a more modern equivalent of comedy drama is Ricky Gervais Derek, which can be pretty downbeat but incredibly funny too.

Phone Shop series 1-3. Love this show and it's use of language. Fave episode has to be the one with the white man's reggae club...a charity set up by Aswad so that white men can dance to reggae without black men laughing at them!

The Almighty Johnsons. NZ comedy drama about a family who on turning 21 become Norse Gods. A bit hit and miss but it passes the time. Loki is fun as you would imagine.
