Sin city the TV series .

https://www.ihorror.com/frank-miller...-to-tv-series/

Frank Miller’s ‘Sin City’ is Headed to TV Series

Robert Rodriguez’s adaptation of Frank Miller’s Sin City in 2005 was a wild and aesthetically groundbreaking film. Well, Legendary Television has signed a deal with Miller to bring the hard-boiled noir comic series to TV.

Rodriguez is still in talks to come aboard in a move that would see Miller and Rodriguez onboard as executive producers. If you recall, Rodriguez demanded miller co-direct Sin City with him since there was literally no one who knew the material better. Rodriguez and Miller co-directing the TV series would be ideal but as of now is yet to be seen.

The deal so far would guarantee a first season and also ‘demands’ that the series go for its original blood and mean guts R rating.

The graphic novels and the two film adaptations followed the criminal underworld events of Basin City. Each film acted like an anthology of tales from within the world.

Rodriguez brought the comics to life combining black and white aesthetic with splashes of color. The proof of concept starred Josh Harnett as ‘The Salesman,’ a cool and suave hitman. The video showed the direction that Rodriguez would take by highlighting a red dress, fire and blood. It was eventually used as a striking opening scene.

Saw’ TV Series Reportedly in Development

Do you want to play a game? At this point I’m not really sure if I do. I didn’t really care much for Saw VII or Jigsaw, and I’m not really sure whether to be excited for the Saw reboot movie starring Chris Rock. That saddens me, as I love most of the series.

If you, unlike me, still haven’t had your fill of Jigsaw’s improbable posthumous games yet, here’s something you might be interested in. According to a new report from We Got This Covered, a Saw TV series is currently in the early stages of development.

Details beyond that aren’t provided, such as what network the Saw series might air on, or whether it’ll tie directly into the prior films. However, it’s a bit of a curious turn of events, as it’s been reported that Lionsgate has big plans for the movie reboot.

Saw

It’s worth pointing out that you should probably take this as a rumor for now. We Got This Covered isn’t saying where they got the information from, and they have a bit of a spotty track record for accuracy. Still, they have gotten some things right before.

While it’s nice that horror fans have so many options for frightening TV entertainment currently, one wonders if we’ll eventually reach critical mass on that front. Horror programming is big right now, but most trends do eventually come to an end.

"The BBC has revealed its line-up of films for Christmas Day and Boxing Day and it's sure to be a hit with Disney fans.

When the Christmas presents are open and the food has been eaten, families will be able to sit in front of the TV on Christmas Day to watch Finding Dory on BBC One.

The Pixar animation is the sequel to Finding Nemo and sees US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres resume her voice role of Dory, the forgetful tang fish hunting for her parents.

There will be more animal magic on Boxing Day, when Paddington 2 will make its premiere on mainstream TV

Aside from the animations, the BBC's festive film schedule also includes Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, and Alice Through the Looking Glass, with Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway."

Also announced for the festive period are:
  • Call The Midwife Christmas Special
  • Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration
  • Gavin And Stacey Christmas Special
  • EastEnders
  • A Christmas Carol
  • Dracula
  • The Trial Of Christine Keeler
  • Snail And The Whale
