I really enjoyed X Files 2, it was a fairly low key effort and was completely mishandled by the studio but still a solid watch IMO.

Had it not had big blockbuster expectations placed on it by the studio with minimal effort going into promoting it at the same time as the dark knight was released no less it probably would have done a lot better.

I loved the TV series, never seen any of the films though, but I much prefer the show that influenced it, see my signature

I have the two films on DVD, and I think that the second one is better

The television show in general, however, didn't do anything for me

I was studying film at college when it started, and my lecturer kept telling me about 'this great new series, that I would love', so I watched the first series, and I was bored with it

When the second series began, I tried watching that as well, but again, I found that it was nothing more than a waste of my time

Personally, I preferred 'Buffy'!

I think it's time I revisited this wonderful show, my local CEX sells the boxsets so I'm going to start picking them up one by one over the next few weeks

I'm in the process of re-watching the whole thing from the beginning (I say re-watching; I've not managed to get past season 5 before). Currently watching F. Emasculata - one of my most hated episodes due to my irrational fear of bugs.
