Saw Partridge and the new one off Burnistoun. both very good hahahaha etc. Picked up Network's "best of" the first series of The Tube ... which is an extreme hoot. Ah, the Eighties (cue Killing Joke) ... how 30 years ago they were  So far ... candid "interviews"  . Suggestions that guests eat dead rats and a plea to those watching to kill themselves . Of course, we didn't just follow like lemmings what we were told by a machine, probably because we had a sense of humor. All at tea time. I look forward to seeing Twisted Sister etc etc. Musical highlights .... Simple Minds on speed (it seemed, romping version of New Gold Dream) ... Jam ripping through 2 songs in under 5 minutes and Eric Burdon and Alf (not the firking Alien, Moyet) duelling on House Of The Rising Sun.More to come!!! Excuse ad.
