One of Castle's finest films.

That is back on amazon for £2.90 now, £4.17 with delivery. Rude not to :D

Mine hasn't shipped and doesn't even appear on my older history page, even when I search for it. Very puzzling and slightly worrying.

That's strange. If it was All_Your_Music you ordered from then personally speaking I've never had a problem with them, generally have a very good service and cheap prices from past experience. The fact that it doesn't appear in your order history suggests a problem amazon's end, rather than the seller. You should have been notified if the seller cancelled your order by amazon...

BAKA 23rd May 2013 11:47 AM

Game.co.uk are selling the Evil Dead 2 Special Edition for £7.99. I had wondered, at that price, if it was the prior version, just with the new artwork up by mistake, but mine arrived today, and it is indeed the recently released Special Edition.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 23rd May 2013 11:54 AM

That's a great price for an excellent Blu-ray release of this cult favourite, which I reviewed very favourably.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 23rd May 2013 12:36 PM

I know I shouldn't as I've been trying to cut down on buying BDs, but that price was too good to refuse!

Edgeworth 23rd May 2013 02:01 PM

Same boat as you, Nos but such a good price and the upcoming Zavvi steelbook looks like shit!

Excellent price. In terms of symbols, such as the £, click on Start and then type 'run' and then 'charmap'. That will bring up the character map which shows all sorts of useful characters.

You should, mate. There are quite a lot of interesting titles out or coming out in the US to make it worth your while now. That and you can get hold of American discs very cheaply if you shop around, so if you're region free you're not going to have to worry about looking them up before ordering.

It probably is Region A but, as I have a multi-region player and haven't seen Anatomy 2, I've ordered a copy. Thanks for the spot.

Paul@TheOverlook 27th May 2013 02:21 PM

It definitely is Region-A locked.

The Buena Vista/Disney licensed double-feature of Deep Rising/The Puppet Masters from Mill Creek is region-free. As is One Good Cop/A Stranger Among Us.

Might be something of interest in DeepDiscounts 2-week 25% off selected BDs (etc) deal which started today:

The BIG Sale 2013 | Free Shipping at DeepDiscount.com

Rumour has it that importcds will have a site-wide 10% off sale any day now, this is much more exciting than deepdiscounts 25% off, because they are much cheaper in the first place!

Strangely the last ImportCDs order I received came with a Deep Discount catalogue. Are they related at all?

I'm pretty certain there's no relation, though not 100%

Edgeworth 31st May 2013 11:15 AM

My HMV had a clearance section today, might be worth checking your locals. Picked up Ninja Scroll steelbook for £5 but they had as whole shelf of movies starting from £3, lots of the less "blockbuster" movies.
