Hmmmmm.

It seems to have gone up in price now.

Personally I don't care for much of SF's artwork, however they always provide original poster art on the flip-side which is a bonus.

I think it's a godawful abomination too... albeit better than most of their godawful abominations they call artwork.

Sainsburies have a promotion on selection of blus at £5 each.
Weren't many in my local but i suspect the bigger stores will have more variety. There was a promotional poster thing with quite a few titles on. Not that i can remember much.

Well worth it at this price but I wish they had went with a more standard box and they really shouldn't of bothered with the awful annual style book, would much rather had an informative book about him and his work.

nosferatu42 11th October 2017 05:21 PM

I shouldn't have really done that but just ordered the Lewis box.:brainfood:

Aaand it's back up to 50 pounds. Here's another great deal. The 24 disc James Bond blu-ray collection which has all current Eon production films, is currently only 40 pounds on Amazon UK. Less than 2 pounds per film/blu-ray and a great offer for anyone who doesn't already own these popular films in high definition format.

monkeypedro 30th November 2017 03:48 PM

On Amazon via Entertainment Seller 101 Films dual format recent release of Zorro with Alain Delon is only £5.23 posted.

Also Stone Cold is only £4.49 posted

i was going to jump on this but there seems to be a lot of complaints about the sound on these for the older titles i.e. they appear to have dropped the 2.0 in favour of lossless 5.1, which is allegedly not as good. personally i would prefer something closer to the original sound mix than faux surround - anyone here notice these problems?
