You'd expect them to have more titles in stock like when they do the Arrow promotion. Last time they did an 88 one they had a display in ours.

Weird. Zavvi had an 88 promotion on a while back and didn't seem to have anything in stock. Then they cancelled my order. Wonder if 88 have trouble meeting the demand for these promotions or something.

May well be the case. It was HMV with whom i placed my order.

Edit - Miraculously four have the five have now been shipped. I only placed the order at 2:13 this afternoon.

How odd. There was probably less than a dozen titles in store this afternoon and only a single copy of most of those.

If you are an Amazon Prime member they have selected 4K UHD titles at 33% off.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/promotio...L5A1OLE&tag=22

If you pick any two 33% off 4K UHD titles that are also in the 2 for £30 offer there is a glitch in the system and you get extra discount as just bought Kong: Skull Island and John Wick 2 for £16.81.

They're cheaper than WowHD though. I got Jean Rollin's Fascination for £11.20 last week, it's a tad under £15 on Wow. It arrived in 6 days too!

perhaps its just the ones on my 'to buy' list that that looked expensive. i have Fascination, but have a few gaps in my Redemption collection, so I'll have a longer browse and see what i can find - thanks Justin.

I wanted Rape of The Vampire, but that's far too expensive.

yep, i picked that one up for around £11 - £13. they do fluctuate in price so i would just keep checking back from time to time. i've waited up to six months before to bag stuff at a reasonable price.

One for the Anime lovers on the All The Anime website.

Until 4:59pm on Sunday 29th July 2018, it's Buy 1, Get 1 Free on selected anime TV series on Blu-ray and DVD - cheapest item being free.

Add products to cart ---> use code BOGOFTV during checkout to activate offer.
(*Code can be used multiple times, but only works on one eligible product once per order)

https://shop.alltheanime.com/collect...018-4-tvseries

It is the cheapest i have seen any of these titles on bluray and Cex will give you more on the majority of titles listed than you actually buy them for if you trade them in.

Hopefully part of their annual xmas offer.

In the end i picked up about 12 titles as have been selling loads of dvds the last few weeks and had accumulated most of the money in my paypal account. I did order an extra copy of High School DxD as Cex will give £23 in trade.

Some good deals for Jean Rollin films at WOWHD at the moment.

Although, apparently, you get hit with a 20% customs charge for anything above £15 now. :(

I have them all in my wish list and had noticed that they had come down in price. I ordered Requiem for a Vampire which takes my collection up to 6 titles :)

About the £15 thing, the discs are still re-posted within the UK so you wont get stung with the customs charge or the post office's 'admin fee' but WowHD has to charge you the VAT on anything over £15. There is nothing stopping you from ordering 2 or 3 titles all as seperate orders though.

Demoncrat 5th August 2018 05:06 PM

Requiem is a hoot (within JR's perimeter anyhow ;))

Enjoy!!! :)

I watched Shivers... this afternoon and that's been the most off the wall one so far  The Iron Rose has been my favourite but I also loved The Nude Vampire. Lips of Blood and Fascination were also excellent but just not as good as the other two  After Requiem I'll be picking up The Demoniacs or Living Dead Girl, not sure which yet.

Demoncrat 5th August 2018 05:25 PM

Oooh as much as I love films set on boats ... personally TLDG ;)
Shiver is fairly loony aye. Wait til you see Night Of The Hunted cough ;)

Just have to make sure that i don't order anything over £15. They all seem to fall below that threshold if you wait long enough. ;)

And Requiem was a good choice and will at least be fully uncut unlike the UK travesty.

I recommend The Living Dead Girl as well. One of my favourites.
