Yes. Both titles came out in the early 1990's on Guild. Guild distributed all of Carolco Pictures films as well, until Carolco folded, and the film library of Carolco was bought out by Studio Canal.

I had that Army of Darkness VHS back in the day, had no idea what it was when I Bought it as i'd never seen either Evil Dead 1 or 2. Love the poster but it's really selling a different film. haha

Anyone think Scanners and Shockwaves was done by the same artist?

Done a little digging. Shock Waves was done by Bob Larkin, he also did Night of The Creeps, Toxic Avenger 2, and one you love.....Piranha 2!

Scanners was done by Joann Daley. She also did the Creepshow "ticket booth" artwork, Popcorn, The Video Dead, Savage Streets, and quite a few more. I had honestly never heard of her until now.
