Good suggestion. I'd also like to see a nice remaster of Sodoma's Ghost by Shameless, though I'm probably the only one who does!

In 2012 I hope that DVD companies will veer away from previoulsy released products. There's still literally hundreds of films languishing in American and Italian vaults that reman unreleased. Stop re-releasing and look for premier titles that no-one's seen yet and haven't yet been on DVD. That'll pique interest and generate sales.

I'd love to see Umberto Lenzi's Eyeball to be released this year please.

So true. It annoys me when everyone goes release this, release that. I just think why, what's the point. Most films mentioned have generally been released before. That's why I was so pleased when I saw Footprints, a film that had never had a DVD release before. Footprints was one of the most surprising films to watch. I want that feeling again because it was refreshing. The problem is that I don't think they will do this. Most likely it will be same old, same old. Stuff that Blue Underground have already released.

In the current climate, when (apparently) the only titles that sell in huge numbers are the latest blockbusters, small companies tend to release stuff that has sold before, instead of taking a chance on a film that's never been released before, and maybe selling a few hundred copies against a thousand copies of a well known title. It's all about making money unfortunately. Sad, but true I'm afraid.

Well it's a boring world then. A depressing outlook. Arrow have just released/will be releasing Frankenhooker and Red Scorpion. Those two films can be bought together on the same DVD in the UK for about £2. It's just so unneccesary to see the film's being released again. It's almost painful in fact.
