Post Erotic Nights of the Living Dead/Porno Holocaust

How About Releasing these titles Uncut.

Porno Holocaust isn't that Hardcore and all the women in it are ugly with flat chests. Also Erotic Nights of the Living Dead (Adult Horror according to IMDB) but is realy only a hardcore end of Softcore

Anything that involves 'hardcore' material would get an R18 straight away, I doubt Shameless would want to go down that route. They really would only sell limited copies in Sex Shops!

Neither of which would pass at 18 and would require cuts for R18 too.

One thing I would like to see is a book released by Shameless that could act as an extra feature to the DVDs. A book with similar artwork, in which a chapter could be dedicated to each movie you have released and where possible an interview with the director or star, and some previously unseen images. I imagine negotiating each release you would have made some good contacts for each film so it could be a nice little package, a study of Italy's more obscure thrillers and horrors

I think this is a great idea but i think it would better for you to wait until you have some more DVD Releases under your belt.

I think one thing on your side would be the artwork, as the reason I bought a Shameless DVD to begin with was because of how it stood out in the store with the yellow sleeve and exploitation artwork. I imagine a book would be similar and with some good marketing even HMV may stock it. As long as you keep the price around £10 and don't charge too much I reckon there's a market for it. I know I would definitely be interested in it and I'm sure others would, especially if you contact sites to promote it. Worth considering.

Whenever you're ready to reply Almar, no hurry...
