Watched The Last Exorcism last night. A lot better than I thought it would be, the end was a little silly but overall not terrible.

The only decent materials available seem to have come from the BFI.

DVD Savant Review: The Ghoul
I have the same release, it really is stunning. Great review by the way, very informative.

As you say very cheap to pick up. At the moment its going for £6 delivered - so quite expensive.

Buying The Ghoul made me start buying all the MGM horrors i didn't already own that were under £1. The spines look superb together on the shelf. I picked up these. All brand new.

A series of great titles there. I'll have to add the ones I don't own to my wishlist.

Amusingly, the titles were all under £1 for months, now when i come to check they have all gone up in price.

Keep an eye out, in a couple of weeks i'm sure they will be reduced again.

Watched Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten last night. You don't even need to be into The Clash to enjoy this as Julien Temple rounds off his punk trilogy (The Filth and the Fury about The Sex Pistols and Oil City Confidential about Dr and the Feelgoods being the other two) with a movie that leaves no stone unturned in the story of one of music's greatest frontmen. My recommendation of the week.
