Agree that Vamp is a bit crummy. Has a cult following I just do not understand. I think it's more down to the psychedelic art direction than the narrative or acting. Grace Jones can't act, whatever the film!

Picked up a bunch of stuff at a boot sale last weekend, including "12 monkeys" which I watched the other night. Love this film. Bruce Willis is just fantastic in it.

Also bought "Zombie transfusion" (for 50p) which I watched tonight. Ultra low budget (It looks like it was shot on a mobile phone) but tons of (at times) half decent gore. Also features Nine and Blinded black on the soundtrack which was pretty cool. I've seen worse.

watched the film Hanna tonight, this was awesome, it was an extremely well made character driven action film about a girl who has lived her entire life in the wilderness with her father who has basically taught her how to kill and a CIA agent trying to find her. The cinematography was beautiful, the acting spot on and it has a great Chemical Brother's soundtrack. The only thing i don't understand was how the film was ever awarded a 12A, there was nothing in the film that said to me that anyone under the age of 15 would find of interest. there were no explosions, no robots, it was quite violent with a 15 year old girl killing people, and was a slow burn. This should have been a 15. I guess it was the lack of blood that got it a 12A. 5/5

I have this on a triple bill (With A Bucket Of Blood / House On Haunted Hill) & it looks great for its age & is probably a port of the US release.I believe this was thought to be a 'lost' film at one stage so it's amazing such a decent print was located.

I've got the Ghoul on the R1 MGM disc, picked it up really cheap (couple of dollars incl ship).
The only decent materials available seem to have come from the BFI.
