Return of the Cat People
Night of the Demon
Creature from the Black Lagoon
The Wolf Man
The Mummy
Onibaba (does that count?)

I like that one too as well as The Raven.

I received that on DVD yesterday but haven't had the chance to watch it. Films I neglected to mention earlier were King Kong and Carl Dreyer's Vampyr.

The Revenge of the Creature DVD is a welcome release and the picture quality is much better than I expected. The same company is releasing The Mole People (a Universal sci-fi/horror from 1956) which I haven't seen on January 31.

That's great news. Now lets hope they release the third "creature" movie.

I'm trying to convince them to release Vault of Horror because the PQ and sound on their Tales from the Crypt DVD was so good but I haven't heard anything yet.

Bride of Frankenstein is my favourite Universal movie and second favourite of this era behind Nosferatu. If you're interested, I've reviewed the R1 Frankenstein: The Legacy Collection.

Too difficult to answer for me. I always end up falling back to The Wolf Man though and it's my most-watched. Bride of Frankenstein would probably be close but there's loads really. Dracula, Frankenstein, Black Friday, The Raven, Black Cat...

Both Nosferatu and Faust don't count as they are German so why are they on the list.

Also Onibaba, even though it's Japanese and a masterpiece, it doesn't count.
