The Stand is very epic although made in 1994 it looks incredibly dated now. Nightmares and Dreamscapes is one of the best king adapts me thinks. The story with William Hurt and The toy soldiers is great but the best is Umey's Case with William H Macy.. |

I liked Crouch End, and thought it was strange that it is in fact a Dark Tower related story. Well, vaguely.

It won't be offered by "amazon.de", as it's been on the dreaded German "index of restricted movies" since its initial censored rental vhs run. It'll be the easiest to order the uncut DVD from one of the various Austrian internet movie shops, most of them still stock it. |
