Cannibals in a modern skyscraper, where they cause all manner of mayhem?

According to a post in IMDb the Deodato film is not a remake of Holocaust, but a companion piece.
They give the name for the film but my memory of Italian spelling is not up to an attempt of trying to post it.Any English nane i've come across for it has just been 'Cannibals'.

The same post did say that a Holocaust remake is on the cards but that it was being done by the people behind Amityville and not by Ruggero.

Well, let's not judge the book by its cover....yet

Cannibals in the city.....I fear that the- probably slim- production values will sabotage such a concept quite siginficantly.

As for the CH remake. How could any genre fan seriously take offence by such fare doing the rounds on the big screen? It won't be PG-13 for sure and the turtles will be left in peace paddling in the river....
My only "concern" is that it'll prompt yet another bigger and better re-release of the orginal, which will be hard to resist....

Im sure there will be some new release planned for the original CH Peter .
Its too good an opportunity to pass up financially.
I wouldn't be surprised if a few other cannibal originals got a re release to cash in on the new interest in the sub genre .

With Video, VCD, Laser disc and multiple DVD releases, i'd love to know how much money Cannibal Holocaust has made so far. I bet its a hell of alot more than was imagined when Deodato started filming it all those years ago.

Ruggero Deodato has been busy touring the major horror film conventions and has been mobbed by fans of CH eager for news on his latest project, the companion piece to Holocaust, simply called Cannibals.
Deodato has so far remained tight lipped but broke his silence at a French Horror Fest to announce that work has stopped on the project due to ' production problems '.

Maybe if he spent less time at Horror festivals building up his retirement fund he wouldn't have ' production problems ' LOL

Only kidding Ruggero, your a living legend mate and entitled to every penny for making , imho, the most important film in the history of Cinema, Cannibal Holocaust.

I enjoy Cannibal Holocaust but the animal killings were just pointless and upsetting. No need for them.

Other than that, CH is a class film.
