Now, since Warners now own the rights (and they own New Line too), the it shouldn't be much of a problem. Fingers crossed then! It would be nice to have the 'complete' Friday the 13th films in one set, altough I'm not that fussed about the remake like the Elm Street remake is was wasted. It would make fianiacial sense for Paramount to make this set region free, it could sell well internationaly.

I think part I is an error, did you read the whole article?

Other than that it's a good set still, Jason goes to hell sucks no matter what cut they put in.

Nope, if it's true, it's a shit, thrown together with no thought set, and they can shove it. Of course, Jason Goes To Hell COULD be an error as well. The WBshop has taken the runtimes from the dvds apparently, and JGTH only has the R-rated runtime on the dvd. Also, the commentary is only found on the unrated version. So, either they've cut the commentary, or the WBshop are talking rubbish and it will be the unrated version. Time will tell.

I have the Deluxe US editions of 4-8. They blow the crappy UK versions out of the water both in picture quality and extra features.
