Yeah likewise.

I find something enjoyable in them all.

I've started collecting these.....they better had go ahead with all the Paramount films in this format!

I would've of they'd used the poster art, but not paying a small fortune when I think they look....meh.

Yeah would've loved original art,but I like hockey masks...

Thanks to your comment about part V,I went and watched it last night.

It's actually one of the more entertaining installments.

Far better than VII,VIII and Jason Goes To Hell.

So apparently the new F13th film has been cancelled altogether. Insiders claim that it's due to the poor box office of the Rings sequel. Paramount also indefinitely postponed a sequel to World War Z. Unsure what to make of this, whilst I like Jason Voorhees, I wasn't very enamoured with the previous F13th (remake) and I wasn't at all keen on the idea of an origin story.

If anything the first film is the origins story i've always thought.

I recently bought a pile of cheap US discs and butchered them to Blu Ray size!

Paul@the overlook-any chance you have a picture?

If ONLY.....eh? The original artwork on each film was stunning.
As they say. They certainly don't make them like they used to!

Ha! Recently ordered F13th 3 and 4 on Canadian blu-ray. The third film is in both anaglyph 3D and 2D. The set came with 2 pairs of cardboard anaglyph glasses. Briefly tried it out and to my amazement, the 3D actually worked quite well. Kinda cool I thought (as I don't own a 3D television set). A fishbowl was floating in front of the screen and a washing line pole was poking me in the eyes! Tonight my wife and I are rewatching Phantasm Ravager on the UK bd and tomorrow, Logan is released but on Thursday (my very next evening off), we'll be watching Friday the 13th part 3D. Should be quite good fun.

The 3D works pretty well on the US dvd as well, much to my surprise.

You can't go wrong with the F13th films in my opinion.

Must confess that I only bought the bd double bill for part 4, have never been a huge fan of part 3. But watching it in 3D will definitely significantly add to the fun factor.
