I'm gonna have to hold out 'till a more affordable model comes out. Luckily with Blu-Ray there is a hell of a lot of region free titles (:

Watched SWORDSMAN AND ENCHANTRESS this afternoon, this one has eluded me for a while but I finally got my claws on it. It's quite a hectic film and you wonder what the hell is going on sometimes but it was really good fun and I'm glad I've finally got to watch it.

I noticed that Yuen Biao has a really small role as one of the minions.

Good choice to start off with.

I recently watched THE BLACK ENFORCER, great film, the tape I have is full screen, this is crying out for a widescreen dvd release.

A bona fide classic if ever there was one, pedro. Don't expect all the Shaws to reach the standard set by that one. Though there are a few that come pretty close.

I have over 100 Shaw films on dvd so you could say im a big fan, most of my titles are from Hong Kong. A lot of these titles are now OOP so get them while you can. Some of my favourites:
Eight Diagram Pole Fighter
Mad Monkey Kung Fu
Shaolin Temple (not the Jet Li film)
Five Shaolin Masters
Crippled Avengers
Shaolin Martial Arts
King Boxer
New One Armed Swordsman
Heroes Of The East....there are lots more...
Its such a shame that no company is releasing these classics in the UK, Momentum tried but there releases were poor and not even anamorphic.
I wonder if Arrow or one of its affiliates would consider releasing some classics...any advice needed i, and im sure many others on here would gladly give!

Hey Drees Always great to see another SB fan on here.Celestial pictures screwed up with the release of SB movies first they targeted the Asian market and notan International market. Then they shot themselves in the foot but showing these movies on various channels pretty killing the DVD sales they did have.
