Supercop has been out for yonks, is it different? I thought it was just a name change (plus the dub obviously).

Also, Movies 24 (a shonky Sky film channel) seems to be having an Asian action season at the minute, over the past few nights there's been Police Story 1 & 2, Armour of God, Project A, Fist of Fury, The Big Boss and Game of Death!

Supercop is the Michelle Yeoh lead spinoff from Police Story 3: Supercop.
Police Story 3 has never had a UK DVD release, this needs to be corrected asap as it's one of my favourite films of all time

Aah, my bad, I always thought they were the same film!

Hang on, isn't the spin off called Project S?

I remember having Police Story 3: Supercop on VHS back in the day.

I'm confused. Haha

Great film no doubt and Simon Yam is memorable in this too with his lethal magic tricks and gay ways. The shot of CYF's character holding onto the blade of Yam's Butterfly Knife with his bare hand makes me wince everytime! I also love the nightclub shootout where the camera follows the trajectory of each bullet fired and imo FC is one of the best CYF actioners outside his collaborations with John Woo.

Definitely not on DVD and BR but VPD issued a VHS version back in the '90s. Obviously a fullscreen and dubbed affair but at least the cover was nice!

Imo PS3 is certainly a watchable actioner but falls somewhat short of the standards set by the previous two outings. Chan was at the peak of his powers the first and second time around.
