Yeah, Universal Soldier, along with Masters of the Universe, is a Dolph Lundgren film I can actually watch.

I really like Masters of the Universe. I think nostalgia plays a massive part though as me and my brother used to watch it a lot when we were kids. Plus, I was also a big He-Man fan.

As for Universal Soldier, I have seen some clips of this one and it did look more 'interesting' than JCVD's usual action fodder appears to be. Maybe I'll make it my first full-length non-animated JCVD feature someday.

You have parents?

I thought you just arrived on this earth in a ball of flame with an electric guitar in your hand.

I really like Maximum Risk. Saw it at the cinema on it's release. I loved the European location work which was a bit of a first for action films of the nineties...until Ronin came along two years later.

I'm hoping that we'll see his film, Full Love (aka The Eagle Path aka Soldiers) soon. It's been finished for a couple of years and Van Damme wasn't happy with it, and wanted to re-edit it/do some reshoots (which he was able to do), and it's had its premier at the Shanghai Film Festival, so hopefully a release is imminent.
