Just in time for Halloween.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Reaps. I'll definitely be picking this up, no doubt about it. Blu-ray is the future and therefore it makes sense to snap this up when it comes out! I, too, may also flog off my R1 UE in favour of this upgrade. Nice one, Arrow!

I've already got the Arrow double disc set of Day of the Dead and the theatrical cut of Dawn of the Dead.I never managed to pick up Anchor Bay's UE, so I'll definitely be getting Arrow's triple disc set.

I'm also tempted to take the Blu-ray plunge Dae,titles like this make it more tempting....

Indeed, Reaps - I've not dipped into Blu waters yet due to the lack of desirable titles. But now that they're starting to appear on the format I'm starting to get an itch that needs scratching. I simply must own some hi-def Fulci and Romero. This is the stuff I've been waiting for!

Not a bad problem to have - finally did it myself only a few weeks ago and turns out the hype was for once worth it!

I got big into blu rays when I finally got the full HD telly to go with my ps3. One thing about blu ray is that it can make some average movies so watchable as you can switch off from a shit story and enjoy the picture quality.
I am not a fan of remakes but the My Bloody Valentine(which for me was sacrilege) was amazing on Blu ray especially the 3D version. That has been my fave one so far, just for the experience.

Terminator 2 Skynet edition is defo worth the plunge

Yeah, I've got a nice 42" HDTV and it was hooked up to HD DVD and looked stunning. Then Warner and Toshiba shit on us HD DVD owners and pulled the plug on the format altogether. Now, one thing Warner and Sony didn't count on, is the wives and girlfriends of HD DVD owners - we'd already bought into one failed HD format, so try convincing them to do it again with Blu-ray. 'How do you know that won't be a failing format also?' It's made life awkward for us movie fans LOL!
