Hopefully they can find a way around that! (I used to have the old VHS copy of Inferno and don't remember the cut in the soundtrack being especially notable but I was 17 when I last saw that version. Anyone?)

I called my elderly mum to tell her that the BBFC had just removed a cat eating a mouse and she advised them not to come round hers - apparently her pet cat attacked a wild rabbit the other day!

I never saw that tape, all I had was the old pre-cert release.

Our cats have been raiding birds nests at the moment, and I caught my youngest stalking a frog at the bottom of the garden last weekend.

Just compared my old Fox video and the cuts are quite well made. No noticeable jumps. Even the cat/chair scene is well edited.

Bollocks this.

However, with the superb 4 panel artwork and all the other stuff,it's still a must-have.

Anyway,as said in many posts before, who wants to see a cat eat a mouse?

As someone else stated,Inferno can live without it.

That's how I remember it too. I never even knew there had been a cut made (even after seeing the uncut version - never knew any difference) until someone pointed it out.

Should be Nekro.
The cut to NYR was superbly done.

Sure was. The edits to some old Anchor Bay releases were excellent too. Maniac didn't even seem like it was cut, except that the strangling scene was improved.

Grab hold of Vipco's Cannibal Ferox & Eaten Alive plus the Satanica video of Night Of The Bloody Apes if you want a real hoot.
