I got a copy of 'The Beyond' way back in March 2011, from the HMV shop in Crawley I have just got round to watching it - what a slacker! - and, of course, it has the black and white opening instead of the sepia one Obviously, I do not have my receipt any more Is it worth me trying to return it to Arrow Video to get a replacement, or have I left it too long/have no proof of purchase? I already have the VIPCO version of the film, so I do have the sepia opening, and as such it's no real biggie if I end up with the B/W opening. Who knows - the incorrect version might be worth something in the future!

Vipco's Beyond isn't a patch on the Arrow version Suzi! As for the replacement,perhaps Nos can answer that question for you......

That's a difficult situation as the returns procedure asks for a receipt or shipping/dispatch e-mail as proof of purchase. However, there's no harm sending an e-mail to the same address explaining your situation and asking if they will exchange your disc for a correct one.

Just curious, if I was to buy this directly from Amazon uk now, would i get a fixed disc?

The replacement program was quick and painless in my experience. It IS a pain getting the wrong disc. But, trust me, the finalised disc is second-to-none. It's a film I love dearly. Arrow have done a first class job. I have no hesitation in recommending it unreservedly.
