Picked up the steelbook yesterday and would like to give props to Arrow, instead of whinging about the poor 5.1 track and glue issues. The PQ is excellent and more importantly, THE ORIGINAL 2.0 AUDIO is present and sounds fabulous. Botched 5.1? Not a f*** was given. |

The only thing wrong with the bd is that it goes twice out of sync If other blu rays are mentioned with this prob then why don't others members mention TENEBRE? |

I love Arrow and their releases but even I have to admit there were serious picture problems with TENEBRAE. Not necessarily Arrow's fault directly, as they do not do the HD transfers themselves, but they should have thought twice about releasing it with that transfer. That grain is unnatural in the extreme!

Can we please stick to the King of New York BD here? There is a thread for the Tenebrae technical aspects which is the best place to talk about that Arrow Video (and other distributors) release. Thanks.

this release has definitely given me enthusiasm for more ferrara, whcih i've posted a couple of times. but also, it makes me wish for DEEP COVER, another urban thriller with a hip-hop soundtrack, also shot for seductive/seedy effect by bojan bazelli, featuring numerous faces from KONY, especially larry fishburne, here in his finest lead performance as the undercover cop. directed by bill duke, mac from the first PREDATOR film. i'm definitely agreeing with the poster who wants a release of THE FUNERAL. an amazing, downbeat film |
