Wouldn't have these hassles if the info was printed on the back of the steelbook as God intended...

Not at all. People are entitled to want the info and certificates printed on steelbooks if they like......even if they are crazy!

Just unwrapped mine.

Four tiny dabs of soft glue. Came off like a dream. No problems at all.

What does everyone do with the cards once they have been removed? Surely they are more prone to damage and loss? That is why I prefer the info on the case itself. They don't even fit in the case with you tuck in the folds. It's all a bit silly if you ask me, It's not like there's even anything much printed on the back of it!

I used to throw the cards away, but lately I've been keeping them.

I even keep the sitckers that come on the cover of Shameless releases and the card's covering the top of the BD cases for duel format releases (Arrow, BFI, Eureka etc).

Same here. I just wrap it around the steelbook when it;s on the shelf. At least it prevents the back from getting scratched (although I may consider folding it in two and storing it inside)

I received my extremely well packaged copy from Amazon yesterday but, as I was out, how to pick it up from the sorting office this morning.

Thing is, my copy from HMV came on Thursday – I forgot about the pre-order at Amazon – so I now have two! So, the question is: do I keep both or send one back?

I did exactly the same thing but with the 2 recent Eureka steelbooks!! I gave one away to a mate and am selling the other on here. But I'm sure you could just send the more expensive one back to get a refund.
