Salem's Lot is the one I come back to every year.... I wish I had the funds to collect all the original editions... The Stand and Cujo are particularly nice... hugely expensive on eBay of course...

Now I know most of the reviews on Amazon are written by idiots, but so many people can't be wrong about this, shame really because I've been looking forward to it, guess I'll wait til my library has it in

80 One star reviews!!
I am currently just over a hundred pages into Ash and thoroughly enjoying it.

As one moaner says it takes the first hundred pages to reach the castle, however during this time Herbert has introduced around ten characters and given them all decently rounded back story and introductions.

Having said that i really enjoyed Once so what do i know?

I don't think I finished Once, last Herbert book I finished was that Crickley Hall one, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I will give Ash a read, just don't fancy spending a tenner if it's not up to his usual standard

The postie just delieved a very cool book indeed. The Collected Works Of Edgar Allan Poe hardback. Oh-la-la!

I read my first EAP story the other week - The Tell Tale Heart - and fell in love with it instantly. I just had to read more! More! Looking forward to this one.

Anyone a big Poe fan here?
