Yes they're definitely making efforts to pass whatever they can.

I agree. It is a complete breath of fresh air compared to 10 to 20 years ago

I was reading the Cannibal Terror review in See No Evil where they stated that it would be extremely unlikely that the film would be released uncut in the UK

How the times change eh?

Incidentally Cannibal Terror is the only one of the 7 cannibal films on the DPP 74 that has never been cut in the UK.

Does anyone know what the Korean import of Ms. 45 (Angel Of Vengeance) is like in terms of PQ, cut/uncut status and extras? I've seen one doing the rounds for cheap on eBay and am tempted to order one.

Just for you, reaps, from IMDb:

Quote:
The french dvd is uncut ,exactly the same as the korean release . Same running time 80mins and its in widescreen . Dont bother buying the american release, its terrible quality and badly cut. And if i were you i wouldnt buy the french dvd as its very pricey compared to the korean release. My dvd was only £7 ($11.50) the french dvd is around £20 ($40) !!! Plus the korean dvd has an english cover and its better looking ,only a few korean words on the cover ....go for it.
After reading that yours truly ordered the Korean disc for £5.49 delivered .

Visions of Ecstasy - although only 19 minutes long (and 19 minutes too long IMO), it caused the BBFC to brick it due to some very outdated blasphemy laws.

The BBFC recently took the unusual step of asking Nigel Wingrove to re-submit the film as it would pass without any problems today.

It was the only film to be banned due to the blasphemy laws and mainly because it would have been difficult to cut. The BBFC's decision to reject the film came soon after their controversial decision to pass Last Temptation of Christ uncut.

Funny you bringing this up as I was considering picking up the Korean dvd of this as well as these:-
Army Of One (Dolph Lundgren)
Leviathan (Underrated monster movie with Richard Crenna)
Halloween 3-Season Of The Witch (Have Goodtimes dvd uncut but disappointing quality)
Private Lessons (Wonder if this is uncut unlike Aussie/UK releases ?.)
The Punisher (1989)
