Finally picked up a new game today...2nd hand "Gears of War 2"

Yes BC2 is brilliant! I've only been back into gaming for the last year so have missed out on a lot of the best stuff in the past few years. I haven't played the first one (just the recent arcadey 1943) but those I know who have say this one is an improvement and yes the single player campaign is just as easy as last time. My only frame of reference would be Modern Warfare 2 and this is certainly an improvement over that, less frenetic and more strategic, the maps on BC2 are massive and I'm loving all the vehicles.

Worth noting I'm mainly in it for the multiplayer, haven't tried the campaign at all yet. Never did finish the MW2 campaign either.

just tied out the new Metro 2033 on the 360, been there done that. the game offers nothing new whatsoever.

Really? A preview I read seemed to make this look like a very clever micx of Survival Horror and FPS.

The way the weapons you get are old and/or home made jobs, every bullet literally counts and the way most ammo is also old although new ammo can be found BUT this ammo is also used as currency...so you really have to decide if you want to keep the ammo to shoot (literally throwing away money) but have weak guns and equipment, or actually spend the ammo to improve weaponry.

Gears of War 2 was good on co-op; definitely more fun than the original.

Most recently played Call of Duty MW2 on the 360; right now the only game I play is N+ on the DS.

Im so looking forward to when i buy this game, i think by far the previous 2 r one of the best on ps2 im currently playing gow on psp

I like to flick from game to game i got loads on the wii i realy need to fin eg zelda.. alone in the dark...disater day...

But at the mo im working my way through dead space. condemned 2 lair and res evil 5 on ps3

As you can see i like my consoles i got psp dsi ps3 and a wii i like playing my games but im not that gr8 at some of them to go to the extent of calling myself a gamer...
