Definitely agree.

I'm getting a decent amount of money back for my taxes in a couple days. Hope to put nearly all of it away, but plan to use a small chunk to work towards building my Second Run, Shameless and Arrow Video collections.

Anyone seen the uk version getting a release?

Dark Night of the Scarecrow DVD UK Release: Amazon.co.uk: Charles Durning, Tonya Crowe, Larry Drake: Film & TV

An 18 certificate?!!

I'm scanning the bbfc website and having difficulty finding it there, I suspect the 18 refers to older movie night of the scarecrow by jeff burr which does show up when I search.

(interestingly death wish 4 and 5 have been re-submitted... new versions perhaps?)

That looks very good and, as I haven't seen any apart from Sawdust and Tinsel, that's definitely a set to buy though perhaps when the price drops a little.

Backtracking a bit, I haven't seen Melancholia - I guess I'm missing out on something special?

I have that BD, but haven't watched it yet. Needless to say, it's prioritised on my list of unwatched discs.

I've seen it on DVD a couple of times - it's a great movie.
