Topped off a wet weather movie-fest with Joe Dante's THE HOLE.

Very good for a kids movie and probably Dante's best work in quite a while. The whole thing is upped to a 12 certificate and has a creepy clown/jester puppet tormenting one of the kids. The hole basically finds out what scares you the most and spews it out after you, not good news for the kids who just moved in!

My copy (from Planet Axel) didn't have a slipcase and I don't know of any that did – DVD Profiler just has it as coming in an HD keep case and no one has contributed any scans of a slipcover.

A few of my German Action Cult Uncut dvds arrived today. The others have been postponed until January. Yes, Cyborg and Navy Seals are non-anamorphic widescreen.

And the reverse art.

A lot of slipcases with US blu's are limited, just like some people didn't get one with Chinatown. Unless it has different artwork than the cover inside, I think they're pretty pointless.

I only like them if there like as you have stated or are a 'clean' cover (Blown up images that cover the blu-border, like the SC Hammer line).
