My Halloween IV & V (or 4 & 5) BDs arrived today, pictured here with Michael Myers, albeit an 18" tall Michael Myers!

Have you seen 'stuck' by SG? It's excellent.

That was like me last week. Saw City of the Living Dead in HMV for £19, but managed to buy it on Amazon later the same day for £4.50!

I couldn't quite 'get' Tale of Two Sisters. It was built up so much to me and it just ended up a little let down. Same goes with Inception.

Just as i said with Prometheus i have heard somethings about A Tale of Two Sisters but im expecting nothing from it so i cant be let down. Of all the films on Tartan label i have never seen a bad one so far.

A late reply but as Keirarts mentioned there was a black and white version prepared as well, and I heard it plays very well in b/w, the CG sits better in the film. It's an interesting experiment. I remember Jeff Lieberman on the audio commentary for Squirm mentioned that he saw the film play on a local New York TV station and they had by mistake transmitted it in black and white, but Lieberman to his surprise thought it looked better - the worms looked realistic in b/w.

It's not that it's a bad film (quite the opposite actually), its just a bit hard to understand towards the end (perhaps multiple viewings are required).

I enjoy most of the Tartan releases as well.

I have that MM figure, I bought it from a comic book store in Meadowhall for £5 because his arm had fallen off, easily fixed with some superglue

I didn't quite understand it on first viewing, but thought it was great. Every time I've seen it since then, it seems to improve with every viewing, but it's one of those where I wish I could see it for the first time again (if that makes sense).

I totally agree Marc, I was cold on the film but I felt there was something there that would bring me back for a second viewing (which will happen one of the days.)
