That's an impressive list, many of those are hands down masterpieces.

I couldn't resist the DeepDiscount sale so I placed another order.

I watched Kane on blu last week. I really enjoyed it but didn't think it attained the Shakespearian sense of tradgedy it was seeking - I just never cared about the title character's fate deeply enough. Visually though, its peerless

Not a film but I've just ordered Alan Partridge Mid-Morning Matters on Amazon as part of the Black Friday deals, I'm not sure why we have it over here but I'm happy about the discount! Anyway for the next 3 hours it is available for £8.99! So if anyone is interested I'd get in there as the cheapest I've seen it elsewhere is £12.95 on Zavvi.

Any good? I caught the last ten minutes of one show where he was wine-tasting - it was really funny but how's the series on the whole?

Thanks for the tip, just ordered Father's Day BD/DVD/CD.

BTW, after ordering it noticed it has a different cover from the one first announced.
Is there a new US disc? Can't find any mention of it, and the Troma site only mentions one version.
Besides, it should be a bd/2dvd/cd and deepdiscount only mentions bd/dvd/cd (3 discs), but it could be a mistake.

The series was great, I didn't feel like it was missing anything, or it wasn't as good as previous stuff. It was great to have Alan back!

I think Odeon Entertainment are supposed to be issuing their own Blu-ray set of The Asphyx at some point? They've already released a nice looking 2-DVD special edition with front cover art by Graham Humphreys.

I've really gotten out of the habit of watching episodic TV and have missed loads. I do love Partridge though. Thanks for the recommendation. I've just ordered :)
